North Conejos School District is extremely proud to provide many CTE programs to students! These programs are designed to aid students in beginning a great career, and gaining valuable, hands on work experience. North Conejos School District introduced various CTE programs in the mid 1970's, and many children have found them to be helpful in both obtaining a job after graduating High School, and learning many lessons that have been helpful for years. 

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are specialized educational pathways designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge related to specific careers and industries. These programs combine academic instruction with hands-on training, enabling students to gain real-world experience in fields such as healthcare, engineering, information technology, automotive repair, culinary arts, and more. By exposing children to career-focused learning, CTE programs help them discover their interests and strengths, develop technical expertise, and build essential soft skills like problem-solving and teamwork. These programs prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce or further education, empowering them with the tools they need to succeed in a competitive and evolving job market.
