
Brad Huffaker
Brad Huffaker, a passionate advocate for Career and Technical Education (CTE), has served as the CTE Director at Centauri High School for over 20 years. His dedication to student success is evident in the remarkable growth and development of each CTE program during his tenure.
A proud Centauri High School alumnus and lifelong resident of the San Luis Valley, Mr. Huffaker possesses a deep understanding of the local community and its needs. Following a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines, where he gained fluency in Tagalog and other dialects, he pursued a comprehensive education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master's in English Language Learners (ELL), and administrative credentials from Adams State College. He further enhanced his expertise with a CTE Business Credential and a CTE Directors License.
Prior to joining Centauri High School, Mr. Huffaker served as a Business teacher at Alamosa High School, where he also dedicated his time to supporting at-risk students at Alamosa Open High School.
When not leading the CTE programs, Mr. Huffaker enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and three grandchildren. His hobbies include ranching, farming, exploring the beauty of the mountains, and training Quarter horses.
