Tanya White

Tanya White works at Centauri High School and is the Med Prep Teacher. She also is the HOSA (Future Health Professionals) Advisor. Tanya started teaching at Centauri in 2020. She has been in the Medical field for 20+ years. She attended Trinidad State College where she obtained a Certified nursing Assistant in 2020 and her National Emergency Medical technician B-IV Certification in 2018. She is now working to obtain her Associate degree in Emergency Medicine, Associate Degree in Medical assisting, and Associate Degree in General Health Science at Trinidad State College.

Tanya grew up in the San Luis Valley most of her life. She has been married for 15 years and has 5 children and 2 grandchildren. In her spare time she is actively working at Costilla County Ambulance as an EMTB-IV.

Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, traveling, listening to music, continually expanding her knowledge and teaching others.

Her love for teaching and thrives on making a meaningful connection with all her students and thrives on seeing them all succeed in their chosen careers and life.
