CMAS
The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) is an important statewide assessment that gives students the opportunity to show how much they have learned throughout the school year while helping teachers and schools better support student success. Designed to measure progress in subjects like reading, writing, math, and science, CMAS focuses on real skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and understanding information—abilities that help students succeed in school and beyond. By participating in CMAS, students play an important role in helping their teachers improve lessons, strengthening their schools, and making sure every student in Colorado receives a high-quality education. It’s a positive opportunity for students to demonstrate their growth, celebrate their learning, and contribute to building an even stronger future for their school community.
