Dear Manassa Elementary Students and Parents,
The 2021-2022 was another great school year. The pandemic forced us into several challenging situations. Our students and teachers were amazing! Everyone faced these challenges with hard work and integrity. I am incredibly proud of the students, families and staff for the matter in which these challenges have been met. The past few years have been difficult, but everyone working together made the best of this awful time. Even with these challenges, Manassa Elementary continues to be a great place to learn!
Our school’s Cams/PARCC scores will be reported in August. I am very sure that the parents, students, and teachers will be very proud of the efforts made by the students of Manassa Elementary. Even with all the craziness this pandemic has caused, we continued to work hard. We will be providing parents with information on individual results as soon as the state releases this data to the public. We will use this data to guide our program to work together to help our students grow.
Our staffing patterns have once again changed this year. We say, "Good bye!" to Mrs. Christie Renolds, Mrs. Hannay Cary and Ms. Rebecca Lopez. We wish these educators well in their next stage of their lives. We have not made official hires to replace these positions. I will be posting the individuals we will welcome to our team in my August Welcome Back Letter.
We look forward to the opportunity to teach your child/children. Educating our youth can be challenging. However, with the help of our wonderful students and their families, we will work together to make Manassa Elementary a great place to learn!
I am so fortunate to work with the students, families and staff that we have at Manassa Elementary. We look forward to having your children at Manassa Elementary next year and truly value our partnership with you and your family. If you have any further questions, you can contact us at school (843-5277).
