Mr. Denny Fringer, Principal
Dear Manassa Elementary Students and Parents,
I am excited for the 2021-2022 year to get under way. The pandemic has left our entire nation faced with many challenges. I am incredibly proud of the students, families and staff for the matter in which these challenges have been met. The past few years have been difficult, but everyone working together made the best of this awful time. Our focus for this year is to provide a safe environment for students while getting back to the academic goals and success Manassa Elementary normally experiences. Manassa Elementary continues to be a great place to learn!
Our school’s PARCC Scores will soon be reported, and I am very sure that the parents, students, and teachers can be very proud of the efforts made by the students of Manassa Elementary even with all the craziness of this pandemic has caused, we continued to work hard. We will be providing parents with information on individual results as soon as the state releases this data to the public. We will use this data to guide our program to work together to help our students grow.
Our staffing patterns have once again changed this year. We have said, "Good bye!" to Mr. Adam Martinez in 5th grade, and our new 5th grade teacher is Mrs. Michon Roberts. Our new Special Education teacher will be Mrs. Christi Reynolds. We are also very excited to announce our Music program is back, and Mrs. Anna Gearhart will be joining us as our new music teacher. I am excited to be bringing in these high quality educators to be part of our Manassa Elementary family.
We look forward to the opportunity to teach your child/children. Educating our youth can be challenging, however, with the help of our wonderful students and their families we will work together to make Manassa Elementary a great place to learn!
We look forward to having your children at Manassa Elementary this year and truly value our partnership with you and your family. If you have any further questions you can contact us at school (843-5277).
