Dear Manassa Elementary Students and Parents,

2019-2020 school year at Manassa Elementary will be here before you know it!  The Four Day Week continues to offer opportunites for familes to help with regular attendance.  Thank you for making attandence a priority once again. I continue to beleive that this school is made up of a quality educational team that works together to promote acedemic growth of all learners.  Year after year we continue to work together to accomplish great things!  I feel so fortunate to be a part of this incredible program and to have the privledge of working with your children.  I am looking for our school being selected as the Transformational Impact Award winner in September, our students deserve it!  Thank you all for your support.  Together we will keep making great things happen.

Our school’s PARCC Scores will soon be in and I am very sure that the parents, students, and teachers can be very proud of the efforts made by the students of Manassa Elementary.  We will be providing parents with information on individual results and how we can work together to help our students achieve more academically.  The results for last year's third grade and fouth grade classes will be handed out during Parent Teacher Conferences in Septemeber.  It is these results that helped us recieve the School of Excellence Award from the Colorado Department of Education one year and then turn around and recieve the Govenors Distinguished Improvement Award from the Colorado Department of Education the following year.

Our staffing patterns have once again changed this year.  We have said,  "Good bye!" to Mr. James Cantu in fourth grade, Mrs Jamie Thomas has moved to the high school, and Mrs. Amanda Doyle has moved to Grand Junction. We have not filled all these positions yet, but we look forward to bringing in the highest quality possible to be part of our Manassa Elementary family.

We look forward to the opportunity to teach your child/children.  Educating our youth can be challenging, however, with the help of our wonderful students and their families we will work together to make Manassa Elementary a great place to learn!

We look forward to having your children at Manassa Elementary this year and truly value our partnership with you and your family.  If you have any further questions you can contact us at school (843-5277).

    Thank you,

    Denny Fringer
