Attendance...why it matters
Posted by Mrs. Shawcroft on 8/31/2023 8:00:00 AMBy 6th grade, chronic absence becomes a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school. A student who misses 10% or more of their school days, which averages to just two days a month, for any reason, is considered chronically absent.
It is important that your child attends school. If you need help getting your child here or if you have questions about what you can do to increase your child's attendance, please reach out!
