Block Out Challenge

November has been an exciting month in the world of sixth grade. Our core teachers (Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Crowther, Mrs. Sowards, and Mr. Perez) challenged us with a ¨BLOCK OUT¨ fundraiser. Students brought canned and non-perishable food items for this challenge. The objective of this challenge was to fill up the classroom doors with so much food that we couldn't get in or to our classrooms to learn. This is to help families in need during the holiday season. Our sixth grade class made this a success. We have 471 items that are being donated to our local food bank before the Thanksgiving holiday.The charity in and for our community is exemplary.
